About us

Respect Life North Texas is a collaborative ministry of local Catholic parishes dedicated to building a lasting culture of life throughout our communities. Rooted in the belief that every human person is created with inherent dignity and worth, we seek to inspire prayer, education, and charitable action that supports life at every stage — from conception through natural death.

Our ministry exists to unite parishes across North Texas in a shared mission while honoring the unique character, gifts, and pastoral priorities of each parish community. We believe that the culture of life grows most powerfully at the local level, where relationships are formed, needs are recognized, and compassionate service becomes visible in everyday parish life.

Respect Life North Texas works in association with the Catholic Pro-Life Community within the Diocese of Dallas. While we collaborate in spirit and mission, our initiative is locally driven and parish-led, allowing individual parishes the freedom to develop ministries and outreach programs that best serve their communities.

Through education and formation, we help parish leaders and volunteers understand the Church’s teachings on the dignity of human life. Through service and charitable partnerships, we connect parishes with local organizations that provide life-affirming support to pregnant mothers, families in crisis, the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and those in need of healing and accompaniment.

We believe that building a culture of life is not only about advocacy, but about presence — walking with those who are vulnerable, offering practical help, fostering belonging, and reflecting Christ’s love in tangible ways. Our goal is to strengthen parish communities so that every person, especially the most vulnerable, encounters welcome, protection, and hope.

By working together across parish boundaries, Respect Life North Texas seeks to cultivate unity, deepen faith in action, and create opportunities for Catholics to serve with compassion and purpose. In doing so, we strive to help transform our local communities into places where life is cherished, families are supported, and every human person is valued as a gift from God.
